54) Subjects are more interesting to me when they are not aware of the camera. I manualy set the focus oposite of the subject, a bench that is at the same distance as my main subject. Sorta triangulating the distance, as I swung the camera by my hip, I knew I had a chance of getting the image using the 24mm lens... click.
-Nikon D70, ISO 800, Manual Shutter 1/60 sec, Lens: fixed 24mm 2.8f (digital 35mm), f-stop set at 2.8, Manual focus, Camera file format saved as Jpeg large fine. Interior Paris, metro.
I really like the lighting and and composition of this one .... almost feel a bit like something from Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films.
Exactly what I was thinking Alina. Very beautiful. So much more interesting that any subway I've been to. I love the way you capture people going about their everyday life. Makes the viewer feel like they are in that place.
